Monk Fryston art club 25th June 2012

The club has been a little quiet following the succesful Summer exhibition and I haven't been able to get to the club for various reasons, so it was nice to get back to it.

It was a quiet meet today but Dave Newbould dropped off a painting and livened things up for a few minutes.

I think the final total on paintings sold nows stands at 29.

I apologise for the quality of some of the photo's here. I have a new camera and am still getting to grips with all the different settings.

Summer Exhibition at Monk Fryston Hall

What a great day at The Hall, massive turnout from the village and beyond and the weather held just long enough for everyone to have a great time.

Unfortunately my camera decided its memory card was full after just a few photos so I haven't got too many to show.
Many thanks to Ian Dearn for the photo's of the exterior.
If anyone else has some from the day please let me know. They can be added anytime
I think we sold about 27 paintings on the day and I know that there is at least one more to sell having taken a phone call from a friend who wants to purchase one of Dave Newbould's paintings.

If you are reading this and saw anything you liked please email me  at karlsimpson1285@btinternet.com and I will contact the artist concerned.
If you can't remember the artist's name try and describe the painting and I will see what I can do.
