The club has gone to the dogs !

All I can say is that a pack of hounds descended on us today.

However it's all in aid of charity as the club is going all out to provide paintings ,sketches , and 3D art for four different dog related charities.

Watch this space for further details.

So here are some of the finished and part completed pieces interspersed with the more usual weekly efforts.

Remember to click on a photo to get a better view.

Lastly there is no meeting next week as it's the trip to Helmsley.

Enjoy....release the hounds !

Free painting week 31st June 2014

Brilliant sunshine usually means a good turn out but think we suffered from a few holiday absentees this week as only 16 members were present. Having said that Peter called in after his lengthy knee operation absence to say hello.

Also we had a new genre of art making its first appearance and if Tracey Emin's, "Unmade bed"can fetch multi millions how much is the below effort worth. It's probably called something like 'Discarded Handbag" but I didn't ask !

See you next week for another free painting week.

I believe that there are also six places left for the art trip, see June Elsey for further details.
