Monk Fryston annual art exhibition

This years annual art exhibition will take place in St Wilfrid's church hall and the church itself. 

The usual high quality paintings of all shapes , sizes, mediums and subjects will be on display for sale in the church hall on Saturday 4th Oct and Sunday 5th Oct with refreshments available on both days. 

However in the church itself will be a secondary exhibition aptly named "All Creatures Great and Small" 

These will predominantly dogs with proceeds from the sales going to four separate dog charities.

There will also be a raffle to win this wonderful pooch painting by artist David Newbould. 

St Helen church Escrick Art Exhibition

This is last minute information but here goes. Over this coming weekend St Helens church at Escrick is having an art event. 

The idea is that each artist hires a pew for five pound and displays their art on it for sale. 

The event runs from 10 till 4pm each day.

Paintings , any media need to be in Thursday (tomorrow) morning after the 10am service 

All paintings need to be framed and strung , ready for hanging.
