BBC artist programme wants applications

I got this in the Epost today.

Anyone interested ?

Dear Karl,

I wanted to get in touch as I have an opportunity that may be of interest to people involved with Monk Fryston Art Club. We are producing a new series for BBC One which will see amateur artists being mentored by some of the leading names in visual art.  School of Art is a primetime series scheduled for later this year and we are looking for anyone with a huge talent and enormous potential to apply. The programme is open to anyone who is over 16 and a resident in the UK.

We would be incredibly grateful if you could pass on through your mailing list, share via Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/BBCArtsOnline/posts/2020586124833198), or tweet (https://twitter.com/bbcarts/status/731074525576724480) to anyone who this may be of interest to.

Details can be found at http://www.bbc.co.uk/showsandtours/takepart/bbc_painting_show

Please also find attached an application form which can be forwarded and returned to amateurartist@bbc.co.uk, I’ve also attached a flyer which may be of use.

Many thanks in advance for any assistance you may be able to provide it would be great to speak over the phone either and I can tell you more information about the series, my number is below if you are free to give me a call.

Yours faithfully,

 Tracey
