Apologies for the quality of the photo's today. I had forgotten my camera so had to rely on my mobile phone. 

This is a lovely finished picture which is a gift for some lucky relative.

Free Painting 17th Sept

Apologies for the lack of a post last week. I was unable to get there due to work so if anyone has photo's of the workshop let me know and I'll put them on another time.


Today was a free painting day and here are the part completed and some finished works.

Barbara Phillips club member profile

Barbara studied Pottery and Art at A Level, and went on to gain a Teaching Certificate, with Art and Design as a main subject, the main area of interest being pottery. For 20 years Barbara taught primary children, and for a short period taught evening class at a secondary school. She began to paint again for pleasure some years ago, and now that she has finished teaching full-time, Barbara has attended art classes and workshops to improve her technique. Barbara paints in watercolour and acrylic, but she loves to use graphite , pastels and coloured pencils, especially for pet portraits.
