Barbara Phillips club member profile

Barbara studied Pottery and Art at A Level, and went on to gain a Teaching Certificate, with Art and Design as a main subject, the main area of interest being pottery. For 20 years Barbara taught primary children, and for a short period taught evening class at a secondary school. She began to paint again for pleasure some years ago, and now that she has finished teaching full-time, Barbara has attended art classes and workshops to improve her technique. Barbara paints in watercolour and acrylic, but she loves to use graphite , pastels and coloured pencils, especially for pet portraits.
