Good attendance today and a birthday, so we were all treated to homemade cakes and sausage rolls, lovely they were too.

June Elsey announced that Mike Dobson cannot attend on the 13th Februaury so she is stepping into the breach with and acrylic paint demo / workshop.

The trip to Holmfirth art festival (5th July) was also mentioned and anyone wishing to attend needs to put their name on the list on the noticeboard and a deposit of £5.00. First come first served basis, 21 seats on the bus available.
Total cost is £10.00 per person then entrance cost of a few pounds.

Monk Fryston Art club 9th Jan 2012

First meeting of the New Year and was great to get back to it.
Club President, Jean mentioned that I would be taking snaps over peoples shoulders.
All the photographs below are members hard at work and a few finished pieces from previous weeks.

June Elsey asked about interest in a day out to Holmfirth Art week on the 5th July, so speak to June if you need more details or check back here next week and I will have more information.

Also on the notice board is information about a two day workshop at Robert Brindley's studio nr Whitby.

They are on the 23rd 24th June, 30th June 1st July and 14th 15th July.
